If you've ever had a chance to watch college or professional baseball players practice you will see them work their way through a series of baseball specific drills. Their are drills that they use to improve their hitting. Their are baseball fielding drills, throwing drills and pitching drills.
Many people (including myself) believe the best way for children to get better at any sport is to try and play like the pros do. By emulating the professionals moves the child can build himself into a better ball player.
Jumping directly into complicated drills may be a mistake though. The drills that professionals perform are the result of a core group of abilities that they've developed over many years of training. The key is to start off with drills that will develop those core abilities.
That is where this website comes in. Here we will discuss drills that beginner baseball players can use to get started on improving their baseball abilities. Whether you are a player just starting off, or a coach or parent trying to help a child improve their skills this is the place for you to start.
